Ministry Philisophy:
Family Mission International seeks to make Christ known to the nations by mobilizing and equipping churches and families to share the message of the gospel, family discipleship and home education worldwide. We are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission through ministry that is by the family and to the family.
What We Do:
- Defend, restore, and rebuild the Biblical family
- Proclaim the vision of spreading the gospel through family discipleship
- Promote Christ-centered and family-centered education
- Restore family-based missions
- Equip churches to engage families in world missions
- Create service opportunities for family missions
How It Is Done:
- Proclaiming: The message is powerfully communicated through sponsoring events, seminars, and training conferences. Various articles and media are also developed to teach families.
- Sending: Family Mission Teams are trained and sent out through local churches to engage families one-on-one in family discipleship.
- Equipping: a network, tools, training, and other resources are provided to equip families in both giving and receiving ministry.
Our Long-Term Strategy
- To awaken the homeschooling community in the US to the opportunity of family missions worldwide
- To begin the ministry by first planting Family Mission Teams in South Korea
- To establish a strong national South Korean homeschool movement that can serve as a model for multiplying family mission endeavors to other countries
- To use our model and ministry base in South Korea as the impetus for sending out Family Mission Teams to all the nations of the earth
- Beginning by branching out to Northeast Asian nations of Japan, North Korea, China, Taiwan, Russia, Uzbek, and Mongolia
- Spreading and multiplying to all the nations of the earth, that every tongue and tribe might know the rich blessings of serving and honoring God together as whole families
