Randy Sumrall

After completing a degree in Finance from Louisiana State University, Randy Sumrall worked in numerous positions in this field, the last being with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

Realizing that his strengths lay more in working with people than paper, Randy spent the next ten years selling packaging materials. In 1999, he began his own business, Harbor Pallets & Packaging, which services the petrochemical industry of the southern United States.

Randy and his wife Julie have homeschooled their two children, Elizabeth and Stephen, for the past twelve years. Believing that God created the family to be the foundational unit of society, it has been their desire to minister as a family to families. In the past years they have had opportunities to encourage young couples in Biblical parenting through Bible Study and fellowship and to serve on a short term missions team in Mexico.

In March of 2005, the Sumralls moved to Seoul, South Korea to carry out family discipleship ministries. It has been their privilege to work with the Korean families, teaching English, beginning homeschool co-ops, and encouraging men and women in their Biblical roles in marriage and family.

Randy’s personal vision comes from their family verses in Isaiah 32:2-4. It is his desire that he and his family look to God to be their “Harbor from the storm” and that they would in turn seek to be a refuge and a harbor for God’s people.
